Let’s take a deeper look at the Aquaplanet 10ft 6 MAX
Type
This iSUP is an all-around board. As a result, the Aquaplanet 10ft 6 MAX Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is able to be used in almost any water type to some degree. Its best water types are canals, lakes, rivers, and choppier seas, and they can even be used for light surfing. However, its main activities include can include yoga, fishing, cruising, and light touring.
Color
While the AquaPlanet doesn’t have any color options, the color it comes in is pretty cool. The bright orange and darker blue with white accents really work on this board. It stands out in an awesome way. So while some might be disappointed in the lack of options, it’s still a great design choice that works.
Materials & Construction
The materials used in this board are somewhat different from many of the other iSUPs I’ve spoken about at length. This board uses a fuse laminated Exo coating, which acts as a military-grade reinforced outer shell. This coating is wrapped around a high-density core drop-stitch pattern. The sides are layered with an anti-flex inner stability band and a rock roof double layer rail bands. The deck pad is a deep EVA diamond-cut premium deck pad. Overall the materials used and the construction choices make this a rather solid board.
Length
The board’s length is very middle of the road at 10’6”, which is essentially a board that’s not too long or too short.
Width
At 31 inches wide, this paddle board is perfect for beginners. Why? It’s a great length for balance and stability. It might take a moment to adjust, but once you do, it’s smooth sailing.
Board Weight
The board is considered lightweight, thanks to it being only 24 lbs.
Weight Capacity
The max capacity of this board isn’t all that high. It is primarily recommended for paddlers who weigh 180 pounds. This board is more geared towards smaller paddlers who are lighter. While it can technically support a paddler between 220 lbs and 240 lbs, its preferred paddler is someone 180 lbs and lower.

FAQ
No matter what paddle board you’re buying, you’ve likely got some questions. Here are some of the frequently asked questions about the Aquaplanet 10ft 6 MAX Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board.
What Else Is Included In The Package?
Like most inflatable paddle boards, the AquaPlanet 10’6 MAX iSUP comes with everything you need to get you started. Let’s take a look at all the items included in their package:
Paddle
The paddle provided with this isup is a 3-piece paddle, which is adjustable, made with aluminum. The paddle does float, so you shouldn’t have to worry about it falling to the bottom of a lake ped if you accidentally drop it.
Backpack
The AquaPlanet 10’6 MAX comes with a backpack as well, which is always handy! You can carry around all the necessary items to use your iSUP anywhere thanks to this handy, heavy-duty bag which measures 2′6″ x 18″ x 1′ (H x W x D). You can even have the pump and aluminum adjustable paddle conveniently attached to the bag on the outside, giving more space on the inside! Finally, the backpack is waterproof.
Pump
Most pumps for iSUPs that come with the board are disappointing. The AquaPlanet’s included pump isn’t actually bad at all. It’s a dual-action pump that takes minutes (6-10 to be exact) minutes to fully inflate the paddle board. Its recommended pressure’s a standard 15 PSI but can go to about 17 PSI as the max PSI. Additionally, the pump has a pressure gauge to help monitor the air pressure applied to the paddle board as you’re pumping air into it.
Leash
Included in your package is a coiled ankle leash. When strapped to your ankle and the D-ring on your iSUP means you’re never straying too far from your board in the event you fall off.
Repair Kit
Almost every inflatable paddle board has a standard repair kit included, even if everything else here is neglected. You want to be able to repair your board on the go, if necessary. Included are a valve wrench, PVC patches, and adhesive.
Is Aqua Plus a Good Brand?
All evidence points to the idea of Aqua Plus being a caring brand. They seem to truly care about their customers. Their customer support is efficient and reliable. They’ve got a strong year-long warranty in place and are ready to provide any assistance to their customers.
So, Is The Aquaplanet 10ft 6 MAX iSUP For You?

The AquaPlanet 10’6 MAX iSUP is actually a really impressive budget board. It ticks all the right boxes and makes a strong case for why it deserves consideration. However, not every type of paddler is going to find the same joy in this paddle board.
Beginners will love this board. It provides stability, speed, maneuverability, and a comfortable experience. It’s by far one of the best starter boards a paddler could get. More skilled paddlers will enjoy it, but not to the extent they would like more pro models.
Another group that would love this board is casual paddlers looking to take passengers with them. From families with children or happy couples to people with their pets. This board is great for that kind of use.
Similar Options To Consider
There are many different similar options one might consider if the AquaPlane 10’6 MAX iSUP just isn’t for them. Personally, I’d recommend the DAMA Nature 9’6 iSUP. It’s a relatively cheap paddle board but the quality is decent for an all-around board.
The DAMA Nature features a great design which is vibrant and colorful. The max weight capacity is about 275 lbs, but it’s more realistically 150 lbs. So similar to the AquaPlanet 10’6 MAX iSUP it’s best used for smaller paddlers. Check out the DAMA full review here.
